The Lodge features a sauna, hot tub, souvenir store and
wildlife display.

Horse Shoe Mountain Lodge, named after the mountain which rises behind it, is a fully modern, eight bedroom facility located at our base camp. The Lodge offers the unusual combination of remote wilderness and the comforts of home. You'll enjoy such modern conveniences as running water, electricity, sauna and hot tub. The Lodge accommodates 14 guests, double occupancy.

If you prefer the cozy ambiance of a log cabin, you may choose to make Lower Prairie or Blue Lake your home camp for a week (or more!). Each camp offers activities which are unique to their location. For example, one of the main attractions at Horse Shoe Mountain Lodge is the chance to view high numbers of wildlife in the yard early mornings and evenings. It is possible to see as many as 200 to 300 elk at a time! All other activities listed below are common to all of our camps. (Go to Blue Lake and Lower Prairie to discover more about their special attractions).
