First week per person based on double occupancy

#1 All Inclusive Wilderness Vacation includes every activity we offer at all three camps. A highlight of this package is the heli-hiking. Visit the glaciers, hike around any number of lakes, study the exquisite flora of the high alpine ­ the choices are as huge as the country itself. Your one hour of helicopter time allows for several drop-offs and pick-ups to heli-hike, river raft and visit other camps. You are given a full day at each of our other two camps to enjoy their unique features and numerous on-going activities. In addition, your helicopter hour may be customized for any trip you wish to make.

If you have an appetite for real adventure, you will not want to miss our overnight excursions to remote campsites such as Granny Creek, Little Sisters Mountain, Jack Ass Ridge, God's Little Acre, The Forks, Jack Creek and Sloan. Or you may prefer to go where no one has gone before! Accessible by helicopter or horse, the number of days can be as short as one night or as long as you are with us.

#2 Tailor-made Wilderness Vacation is offered for those who are content to stay in the camp of their choice for the week. If staying for a second week, you have the option of changing camps. This package does not include heli-hiking, river rafting, overnight excursions, and day trips to other camps. These options may however be purchased separately (Add these! Adventure Tours).

#3 Economy Wilderness Vacation is offered for those whose main objective is to do things for themselves with a minimal amount of support staff. If staying for a second week, you have the option of changing camps. This package does not include heli-hiking, river rafting, overnight excursions, day trips to other camps, nor horses or guides for excursions away from the campsite. Feel free to explore and hike the surrounding wilderness on your own. A guide will be available to you for initial orientation. Other options may be purchased separately (Add these! Rates are based on double occupancy. For those who wish to have a room to themselves, there will be a $350 US surcharge.

Customize If you have a trip in mind which differs from those outlined above, we will do our best to accommodate you. You may for example, rent additional helicopter time. (Add these! Adventure Tours).

Our season of operation runs from June 1 to August 15 with the weekly change out dates on Sundays.

Reservations We highly recommend that you book at least 9 months in advance. Reservations will be confirmed in writing upon receipt of your deposit. When two or more parties are interested in the same date, the first deposit we receive will determine who is given the booking. Any duplicate payments received thereafter will be promptly returned.

Deposits Once you have selected a date for your trip and have had that date confirmed available by our office, please send a cheque or credit card payment of $500.00 US to hold your reservation for 30 days. A 50% deposit, less the $500.00 down payment, is required within 30 days of receiving our confirmation package. The final payment is due by March 1 of the year of your trip. The 50% deposit is non-refundable and must be used within the year of booking by yourself or by a mutually acceptable substitute client. We strongly suggest that you purchase trip cancellation insurance.

Late Bookings Late bookings, after March 1 of the year of your trip, must be paid in full at the time of booking. For the last minute traveler, booking less than 30 days prior to traveling, full payment must be received in our office 14 days before your vacation begins.

Date Changes Changes are accepted in the year of your booked trip only and are subject to the availability of an alternative date. There will be a charge of $100.00 per client for date changes.

Cancellations There will be a cancellation charge of 50% of your original deposit up to January 1 of the year of your booked trip. After January 1, your deposit may be transferred to a mutually acceptable substitute client or it will be forfeited.

We accept cheques, Visa or MasterCard.

Trip Cancellation Insurance Cancellation insurance is highly recommended for your own protection. Insurance can be purchased from your local travel agent.


All clients of High & Wild Wilderness Safaris are required to sign a liability waiver.
