Wildflowers in the high alpine? This vast and varied country offers it all. Spectacular scenery. Wildlife galore. Remote campsites to explore for a day or more. If you can't decide, we will help you plan a customized program based on the preferences you provide us in your Planning Guide. Check out the Picture Gallery. You may see something there which is a "must do."

Excursions to remote campsites such as Granny Creek, Little Sisters Mountain, Jack Ass Ridge, God's Little Acre, The Forks, Jack Creek and Sloan are accessible by helicopter or horse. You may wish to camp out under the stars for a night or more or you may decide to hike for a day then return to your base camp. Choose your camp(s).

Trail Riding: 2 - 8 people per trip.
Duration: Day trips can vary from one hour to a full day. Extended safaris into remote areas can last for several days.
Guide: Minimum of one guide per excursion.

Take a leisurely trail ride through the valleys or along the lakesides. Enjoy a longer, more challenging ride fording rivers and climbing mountains. See exceptional panoramic vistas. You will see abundant wildlife wherever you choose to ride.

Heli-Hiking: 3 people minimum per trip.
Duration: As short as one hour (which is included in Pkg. 1) or as long as a full day.
Rates: $800 per hour for 3 passengers.
Guide: Minimum of one guide per excursion.

Drop offs on the tops of mountains allow for hiking across snow covered peaks and down along the ridges. See enroute spectacular views and lush alpine flora and fauna. Drops offs at mineral licks allow extraordinarily close range views of wildlife. Drops offs in high alpine valleys offer unforgettable hikes past waterfalls, mountain streams, wildflowers and wildlife. Drop off points are unlimited. The area of drop will depend on your interests.

High Alpine Trips:
2 - 8 people per trip.
Duration: From 3 hours to a full day depending on your preferences.
Guide: Minimum of one guide per excursion.

Access to the high alpine via horseback is a full day's excursion; by helicopter it is 3 hours or more. Revel in the abundance of wild flowers and the majesty of the scenery. Viewing wildlife is also an exciting part of alpine safaris.

Fishing: One or more people.
Duration: From one hour to a full day depending on your preferences.
Guide: Guide provided on remote trips.

Lake and/or stream fishing. Excellent fly fishing or lures. You may combine your fishing trip with trail riding, stopping enroute to fish at remote pools. You may also choose to be dropped off by helicopter with a prearranged pick-up time.

Canoeing: One or more people.
Duration: Your choice.
Guide: Guide not required but will accompany guests if requested.

Canoeing is offered on Blue Lake only. You will have exceptionally close access to moose feeding in the lake. Great photo opportunities.

Day Trips to Other Camps: 2 - 8 people per trip.
Duration: 4 hours to 10 hours.
Guide: Minimum of one guide per excursion.

You may wish to combine a trail ride with a helicopter drop off to the camp of your choice. The average ride to other camps is approximately 4 hours by horse. You may stop for lunch either enroute or once you arrive at the camp. Spend a couple of hours enjoying the camp and surrounding area, then ride back to your home base. You may take the helicopter one way and trail ride the other. You will see abundant wildlife, flowers and birds.
