How Secure Is the Information I Give to You?

To protect the security of your information during transmission, we employ the services of Thawte which is a VeriSign company, leaders in online security. Security is provided by Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. Encryption is a procedure whereby information is converted into an unintelligible code which is decoded only upon arrival at the authorized destination. This process is very secure and is the method employed by major financial institutions and e-businesses to conduct online transactions securely.(See our illustrated description of SSL).

We reveal only the last five digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order. Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.

It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.

The personal information you have entrusted to us helps us customize your adventure tour with High & Wild Wilderness Safaris. Here are the types of information we gather.

Information You Give Us: We receive and store any information you enter on our web site or give us in any other way. You can choose not to provide certain information, but we have included specific requests for information in order to provide you with the best service possible. We use the information that you provide to respond to your requests, customize your vacation with us, and improve our service to you.
